Tile that survives a kitchen, and stone that dresses one up
Ceramic, porcelain and natural stone from seven mills, racked as full-size boards in our tile wing so you can see the piece instead of guessing from a chip.
Porcelain earns waterproof from what it's made of, not a coating on top
Porcelain tile is waterproof through the body of the material, which is why it goes down in bathrooms, kitchens and mudrooms without a second thought. In the tile wing at 6401 TX-317 the large-format boards are racked standing up, so you're looking at a whole tile instead of judging a floor off a four-inch chip. Natural stone reads warmer and more varied than porcelain, and it needs sealing to keep that character, which is something we walk through with you before it ships rather than after it's grouted in.
Grout is a decision, not an afterthought
A near-match grout disappears and lets the tile read as one surface. A contrasting grout draws the joints out and shows off a herringbone or basketweave lay on purpose. Either way it's chosen in the showroom, next to the tile it's going between, not off a swatch card at the register.

Where the tile wing turns into a bathroom or a backsplash
Daltile, Emser Tile and Marazzi don’t stop at the floor. The same porcelain and stone in our tile wing lines a custom shower just as often as it covers a floor, and the same boards get cut down for a backsplash behind a range. Sealing schedule and grout colour get decided once, in one appointment, for all three surfaces instead of three separate ones.
